Baba Farid's tomb

The tomb of Baba Farid is a popular tourist attraction point in the city. The tomb or the shrine was built by Mughals after the death of Baba Farid in 1265 A.D. It is made up of white marble having two gateways, facing east and north, called Nuri Darwaza and Bahishti Darwaza respectively. The Bahishti Darwaza is made of silver and decorated with floral designs. The tomb has two graves, one of Baba Farid and second of his elder son.
